Official opening of Caterpillars Children's Centre, Morehall12.17.31pm BST (GMT +0100) Thu 17th Jun 2010 The Caterpillars Children's Centre in Cheriton will be officially opened next week, and the Mayor of Folkestone, Tom McNeice, will join families for the celebration. The centre, on Chart Road, specialises in support services for children aged up to five years old and their families, including parent and baby/toddler groups, baby massage sessions, antenatal support and child health clinics. Families can also seek help from Citizens Advice Bureau staff and there are family learning sessions, offering a variety of skills. Located in the grounds of Morehall Primary School, the centre is one of more than 70 centres that have opened across Kent as part of a government initiative to bring greater childcare and education services to young families.
