Two-for-One offer on special Folkestone performance tickets for this weekend1.08.14pm GMT Thu 27th Nov 2008 Experience a quite remarkable performance in an extraordinary setting in Folkestone ... scents mingle and intertwine in the living-room, kitchen and bedroom as the audience explores the elusive connections between smell and memory on this intimate and distinctly aromatic journey. The performances of "Curious: On The Scent" are on both Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November. Performances start at 1pm; 1.40pm; 2.20pm; 3pm; 5pm; 5.40pm; 6.20pm and 7pm daily. On the Scent comes to the heart of Folkestone after being performed, over the last five years, in a diverse selection of homes ranging from a two-up-two-down terrace house in West Bromwich, a council flat in East London to a luxury apartment in New York, a state-of-the-art condominium in Toronto, an historical building in Brazil and a colonial mansion in Shanghai. This show is for an audience of four and lasts for 35 minutes. Tickets £10 full price, £7 for concessions (Children under 16: Full-time Students: Registered Unemployed: Senior Citizens: Disabled people and companion). Threshold is the first part of Leap Years, EKLAAP's four-year programme developing site specific and outdoor performance in East Kent. EKLAAP comprises Ashford Borough Council, Canterbury City Council, Shepway District Council and Thanet District Council.
