Clothes Collection packed for Nepal

11.10.15am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 11th Jul 2008

Around 20 boxes of clothes will be making their way from Folkestone to Nepal on Saturday thanks to a collection of clothes led by the Nepali community in Cheriton.

Cheriton Councillor Dhan Gurung, helped by a team including Lib Dems Neil Matthews and Lynne Beaumont, will be helping to pack up the clothes on Saturday for their journey to Nepal. The clothes were mainly collected at a charity event last month, when over £200 was also raised and split between 3 good causes.
