Elections 2007: Lib Dems Win Cheriton Town and District Seats12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 4th May 2007 The Liberal Democrats won all three Folkestone Town and Shepway District seats in the local elections held on 3rd May. Peter Carroll, Peter Gane and Tim Prater were elected as Shepway District Councillors. Peter Gane, Dhan Gurung and Tim Prater were elected as Folkestone Town Councillors. The Cheriton (Shepway District Council) results in full were:
